What it is
NASpI is the unemployment benefit for people who have lost their job involuntarily.
It is paid monthly by INPS (Italy's social security institute) and supports your income while you look for a new job.
How we help
The Patronato helps you submit your claim to INPS and works out how long the benefit will last and how much you are entitled to.
We also help with later notifications, for example if you start a new job or become self-employed.
Who it's for
- Employees who have been dismissed or whose fixed-term contract has ended
- Workers who resigned for just cause (giusta causa)
- Workers whose employment ended by mutual agreement, in the cases allowed by law
- Anyone who meets the contribution requirements set by INPS
Documents to bring
- 1ID and codice fiscale (tax code)
- 2Dismissal letter or paperwork on the end of employment
- 3Most recent payslips
- 4IBAN of an account in the applicant's name or held jointly
- 5Valid permesso di soggiorno (residence permit), for non-Italian citizens
Indicative list: depending on your situation we may ask for other documents.
