What it is
Conversion lets you change your residence permit into a different type, for example from study to work.
It allows you to bring your permit in line with a new personal or work situation.

The Patronato handles the request with the Questura or the Sportello Unico per l'Immigrazione (immigration one-stop office).
We check whether conversion is possible in your case and which documents you need.
Who it's for
- International students who have found a job in Italy
- Seasonal work permit holders with an offer of permanent work
- Holders of a family or other permit whose situation has changed

- 3Documents on study, income or family, depending on the type of conversion
- 4Rental contract or dichiarazione di ospitalità (declaration of hospitality)
